We are here again to share our news and to tell you what we do here in Bolton, England. We came back to school on 7th September. We had 7 weeks for our summer holidays. And you? How long did you have for your summer holidays?

Semana Santa in Málaga

Hi Students! We are celebrating next week Holy Week here in Málaga. It is a very traditional season here in Spain, and Málaga's parades are well known all over the world. In our school, we are having an exposition of our students with tronos and traditional food. Here you can find some links and pictures to know better our tradition. Have a good Easter!

Hola alumnos. La semana próxima celebramos la Semana Santa en Málaga. es una celebración muy tradicional en España, y los desfiles en Málaga son muy conocidos en todo el mundo. En nuestro celegio hemos hecho una exposición con tronos y comida típica de esta época. Hola desde el CEIP Paulo Freire. Hello from Paulo Freire Primary School.

Hola a todos. Soy la seño Nieves, maestra de Conocimiento del Medio e inglés del colegio Paulo Freire, en Málaga (España). Nuestra ciudad está al sur del país, y es un sitio soleado y con playa, aunque en este momento haga un poco de frío.

Hi everybody! I´m Miss Nieves, a Science and English teacher in Paulo Freire Primary School, in Málaga (Spain). Our city is on the South, and it is a sunny place with coast, although nowadays it is a bit cool.

Los alumnos de Y3 comen un desayuno tipico de Francia. The Y3 children eat a typical French breakfast.

In France it is fine to drink from a bowl = un bol



Eating un pain au chocolat

The year 3 children at St Michael's primary school enjoyed un petit-dejeuner francais today. They each ate un pain au chocolat and drank du chocolat chaud. The children had to ask for the food and drink very politely so they said: Je voudrais un pain au chocolat et du chocolat chaud s'il vous plait. They had to say Merci = thank you when they had been served. All of the children said 'Miam miam! as they were eating which means yummy yummy!


In France people can drink from a bowl which they call un bol.

Los alumnos de Y3 acaban de comer un desayuno tipico de Francia...comieron un pain au chocolat y bebieron un bol de chococlate. En Francia se puede beber de un bol lo que no se debe hacer en Inglaterra. YUMMY YUMMY en frances es miam miam!

Sabemos que en Espana se come churros y chocolate. En Inglaterra no tenemos churros...que lastima.
In Spain we know you eat churros. We don't have churros in England which is a shame.

Los alumnos de la clase del Señor Begg Y6. The pupils in Mr Beggs Y6 class.

La clase del Señor Begg se llama OAK y la clase del Señor Cuss se llama Teak. Son los nombres de los árboles.

Mr Begg's class is called OAK and Mr Cuss's class is called TEAK. The two Y6 classes are named after trees!
